Meet Nikoline Svenningsen

My work wonders the interlaces between the knowledge and science of clinincal psychology of the mind, the vast an beautifull landscape of our relational body and how we meet ourselfs with more presence, curiosity and grace through spirit.

I am a trained as Aut. Psychologist & embodiement fascilitator and movement &yogateacher and has been interessted in topics related to love, death, sexuality and our anxiety to step into our own lives with ownership and honesty towards ourselves for many many years.

I use my knowledge of the neurosciences and traditional interventional methods of clinincal psychology, and pair it with somatic tools and esoteric practises to guide you to reconnect with your body, mind & (for some) spirit. Presence, movement, and heartfelt inqueriy and evidence based psychotherapy isat the base of all my work.

A Walk of Life
As a human being, I have walked the talk myself. I have accumilated both insight and compassion for the turns life can take, through personal experience, and many many years of therapy, workshops, educations and personal spiritual practise. I continually futher develop my skills and craft through daily practise, futher education, owntherapy, supervision, collegial support and workshops. For me, life is an endless adventure of curiosity and discovery.

About My Work

As a Aut. Psychologist and therapist i am dedicated to guiding individuals and couples on a journey of self-discovery, authentic connection, and wholehearted presence. I believe true transformation arises when we integrate mind, body, and for some spirit too, and I draw upon evidence-based methods infused with direct curiosity, compassion, humor and playfulness.

As a Aut. Psychologist, family advisor and Couples Counselor I have worked with people from all layers of society, with a broad varity of issues. But it always tuches me, how much alike we are as human beings, and how important it is to be witnessed, mirrored and challenged by other humans in order to grow into more trust, love and courage. We need support in different fases of our lives - We all have our rough padges.

Thereafter I eclecticly choose from relevant therapeutic modalities such as:

  • ISP (Integral Somatic Psychology)

  • CBT (Cognitive behavioral therapy)

  • Exsistential Therapy (Irwin Yalom etc.)

  • ACT (Acceptance & Commitment therapy)

  • EFT (Emotion focused therapy and couples counseling)

  • Mindfullness

  • when relevant: different movement excercise supporting the ussie of therapy

  • NET (Narrative Exposure Therapy)

  • Writing therapy

  • Naturetherapy

  • etc.

In our sessions—whether online, individual, or couples—I offer a safe, compassionate space to explore your world and aims for the therapy.

My aim is to nurture a sense of safety and trust in yourself, through ex. somatics helping you create space for what is. Together, we cultivate resilience and gentle openness, so you can access your inner resources and shed layers of ex. shame and numbness.

Workshops approach

Drawing on my background as a ISP (Integral Somatic Psychhology) Yoga Alliance-certified teacher, trained in the Authentic Flow tribe, embodied yin, embodied tantra, and with over 15 years of personal practice, I weave together the threads of yoga, neuroscience, and psychology for you to play in.

My workshops are sacred spaces for connection, intimacy, community, and playful exploration. They serve as portals to resourcefulness, emotional connection, vulnerability, and authenticity. It is in the courageous act of showing up fully that we rediscover how to feel alive, radiant, and deeply connected.

Through somatic practices, we nurture safety and invite what is to emerge—allowing emotions to be felt, expressed, and integrated. By sharing our bodies and stories in community, we open ourselves to a profound sense of belonging, vitality, and the joy of simply being alive. Come and play and let yourself be suppriced of how much beauty and wildness you also contain.

I invite you to explore primal play, authentic movement, and chakra-based athentic movement/dance—powerful practices designed to reconnect you with your body’s wisdom and your innate sense of safety.

All ages and backgrounds are welcome - no experience needed.

No matter the course of looking at this page, I want to celebrate your curiosity and courage for being here.

You are always welcome to book a discovery call with me. Just text "discovery call" to: +45 61 71 78 64, and I will get back to you as fast as I can.

Common Questions

Who can I book?

You can book sessions with me as a psychologist, embodiment facilitator, or counselor.

What is embodiment?

Embodiment is the ability to tuning into your body’s primal instincts and wisdom through attention, movement, intention and stillness. Its a way of connecting to that, that connects you to all else: the body. So to embody, is for many people a notion of coming home to oneself. And in return a new connection to aliveness, play, creativity, sexuality and spirituality may come online.

How do sessions usually work?

Sessions blend body, soul, and mind using evidence-based methods, movement, voice, and athentic presence.

Do you offer couples counseling?

Yes, I guide couples to reconnect and deepen their relationship through holistic approaches.

Can I discuss sexological issues?

Absolutely, I provide guidance and support around sexological concerns in a safe space.

How do I prepare for a session?

Come as you are, open to presence and exploration; no special preparation is needed beforehand.

But be aware that therapy is work - but the most rewarding kind of it. It can be helpfull to many to take a break for yourself afterwards. Integration is important.
